Moon

It's been a while since my last post, guessed it would be unfair to leave you lot hanging.

Yesterday I thought to myself, the moon, our nearest neighbour.



I remember now, that I used to stare at the moon for hours when I was a kid, for some uncanny reason, I felt close to it, as if I knew it.

I know what I have to do, I know where I have to go and it can only happen if I’m with her.

Everybody, I’m very sorry, sorrier than I can ever be, but I have to do this.

Tomorrow we leave.

Crimson

Last night she spoke to me, well...she kinda sorta spoke to me, she was inside my head, like she was psychic.

She appeared in my room, like a bloody ghost, materializing out of thin air, I thought I was ready to talk to her but i just froze, not of fear...I dunno...it was nostalgia, I knew her, not a single damn clue of how that was even possible but I swear to god I knew her. It was totally different from the last visit.

She was so close to me this time, her scent filled the stuffed stench of my room, her hair illuminated the walls, her piercing eyes penetrated into my very soul. I just stood there right in front of her, mute, staring awestruck-ed, she then reached out and held my freezing hand...

What happened next was not entirely pleasant.

Voices rushed into my head like tidal waves, I thought my skull was going to explode.

Then it stopped and my knees failed me. I took a few moments to collect myself. By the time I looked up, she had tears streaming down her face...I wanted to utter something but she was already gone, yet again.

It was no legend.

It happened.

IDIOT

I am such an IDIOT!

It totally makes sense! I just didnt notice it, the last time she visited me, June 15th, there was a full moon on that day! and the next full moon would be on the 15th of this month, which is tomorrow!
It was mentioned in the legend, skepticism just blinded me.

I hope she shows up, i want to see her so badly.

More than meets the eye

I am on a row.

After much further excavation into the infinite realms of the world wide web,
It seems that the legend may not be as obscure as i thought it would be, there's actually an animated feature based on the legend itself, here's the animation's website and also the same trailer at Youtube.(I'm honestly surprised)

Moving on, I discovered a newspaper posting that also looks to be related to our favourite evasive damsel, a six year old girl was saved by a "mysterious hooded figure" after the kid got into trouble at a construction site. Here's the article.

Breakthrough

I did it! I finally found some material related to her! After countless hours of searching the internet, I've stumbled upon a website that has content on "The Legend of the Crimson Cloak".
(Im so proud of myself now)

Needle in a haystack? Ha! I've got you!

As the legend goes, the girl is known as "Crimson" (duh) or "purpura" in latin, she's supposed to be a banished god because she ignored her duties after falling in love with some dude. The dude was then killed by the other gods (poor fellow) and she's been looking for her lover's reincarnate ever since.

There's also a part that states she only appears during a full moon.

Not in the Mood

No luck with info on the legend, been too busy, still no sign of her.

schoolwork is sucking me into the dark abyss.

Connections?

I didn’t see her last night, maybe she got scared off by me, maybe I was too intimidating, or maybe I'm just losing my mind, who’s gonna believe me when I say a jaw dropping beautiful girl with abnormal facial features in a crimson cloak visited me in the middle of the night… I know, totally nuts.

As bonkers as it seems, after doing some digging (I did it anyway), I managed to find two artworks that I think are somehow related to this mysterious girl. Both artworks clearly depict a girl which fit the profile and both artists also stated that they were inspired by “The Legend of the Crimson Cloak”.

hmmm...

The First artwork clearly got her eyes wrong, and the Second is a little out of setting. Even so, the resemblances are still very accurate plus the artworks did a much better job than my previous attempted *cough* sketch *cough* of her.

Haven’t gotten any hits on this so called legend yet, but I'm not gonna stop now, things are just starting to get interesting.

extra note: I told my housemates anyway and they think I've got post traumatic stress disorder, best leave them out of this.

ITS REAL!

It’s a she! It’s a girl! I saw her for real just now!, it was not a dream after all!

It was drizzling outside, I was typing away on my laptop when I heard a sound at my window, I turned to investigate and there she was, staring through my window. I swear my heart came real close to bursting out of my chest, surprise, excitement and horror coursing through my whole body all at the same time.

A girl in her late teens, but she had this mature aura around her even for her appearance, as if she has been around for a long time, I can't really define it exactly. She was unbelievably beautiful, her blood red eyes, pale skin and glowing white hair, a cloak covering her body… I’ve never seen anything like it.

We just stared at each other, I couldn’t remember for how long, thoughts were racing through my mind, Who is she? What’s her name? How is it that she’s so damn beautiful? And what the hell is she doing in the rain outside my window? She seemed baffled and curious the whole time we were staring at one another, it was like she was examining me, looking into me….. What in the world am I blabbering about?!

I tried to open my window and that was when she ran… she just disappeared.

That’s it, this may be crazy talk but I am going to investigate, anyone who has any leads please let me know.

Bizarre

Today for some reason my room smelt like perfume, strange enough because I don’t use perfume at all… what’s even curious is that I found my room window opened ajar when I got up, I remembered shutting it last night before bed and its opened from inside only. WEIRD.

I even had the strangest dream last night… It was raining and I was looking out of my window, streams of raindrops snaking their way down the glass, sounds of water drops echoing in hollow pipes. On the other side, there was this blurry figure standing in the distance, he/she(it was too dark to tell) was staring at me (you get this feeling when someone is staring at you), those eyes…. They were blood red, reflecting the light of the moon, glowing like cat’s eye in the dark, chills ran down my spine. The next thing I know, I woke up.

Been here for two weeks and I’m already having crazy dreams, or was it all real?

Studying Overseas

Alrighty then, here I am a long way from home, staying on my own for the first time overseas! both a little frightening and exciting at the same time (mostly exciting) I'll be studying here for the next three months to get my degree and become a supersmart person.

Okay, maybe cut the last part out.

I like using my phone’s camera to capture the moments, doesn’t have much megapixels but it feels more personal somehow... will borrow SLRs from my buddies if necessary, those cameras make my phone's cam look like a peashooter..showoffs
